Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 341, 323, 304B, 201/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Petitioner happens to be the husband of the victim of dowry death. He is in custody since 17.01.2018. The victim died in her matrimonial house unceremoniously within four years of marriage and there is allegation of demand of dowry and torture for the same, soon before the death. Learned counsel for the informant opposed the prayer for bail.

I do not find any substance in the submission of the

No.30302 of 2018(4) dt.07-08-2018 2/2 learned counsel for the petitioner that the victim had pain in her stomach and during course of treatment she died because there is no material to substantiate the allegation. Hence I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner, above named, on bail in connection with Taraiya Police Station Case No.293 of 2016. The learned trial court is directed to expedite the trial.

The learned counsel for the informant is also directed to produce the prosecution witnesses on each and every date fixed in the case by the learned court below. (Birendra Kumar, J) abhishek/- U T
