====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE SOURENDRA PANDEY ORAL ORDER 22-04-2025 Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State.
2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Sohsarai P.S. Case No. 116 of 2024, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 341, 323, 324, 307, 447, 448, 504, 506 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. The prosecution story in brief is that due to land dispute, the accused persons including the petitioner came at the door of the informant and started abusing. When informant's son protested to such abuse, then the co-accused persons including the petitioner started assaulting the informant, his daughter and his son with knife, iron-rods and other weapons. There is specific allegation upon the petitioner that he had given blow with knife on the stomach of Pappu Ravidas.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case and there is a case and counter case with regard to the same incident and both the sides have sustained injury. He further submits that from perusal of the injury report, it suggests that the persons who are said to have been assaulted by the petitioner, had received simple injury on vital parts of the body. It has lastly been submitted that the petitioner has clean antecedent and he is in custody since 24.06.2024.
5. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail.
6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances specially taking into account the fact that the injury said to be inflicted by knife, were found to be simple in nature, there being

7. Accordingly, the prayer for bail is allowed.
8. Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the court of learned Judicial Magistrate-1, Biharsharif, Nalanda, in connection with Sohsarai P.S.
