Petitioner seeks bail in Barachatti P.S. Case No.417 of 2018 instituted for the offence under Section(s) 30(a), 30(d), 38 and 47 of Bihar Prohibition & Excise Act, 2016. It is alleged that twenty litres Mahua liquor and 130 Kg. of Mahua flowers were recovered from the possession of petitioner. Petitioner is said to be in custody since 23.06.2018. It has further been submitted that he has no criminal antecedents.
In the facts and circumstances of the case, prayer of the petitioner for grant of bail is allowed. Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.55617 of 2018 (3) dt.20-09-2018 2/2 Rs.10,000/-(ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Special Judge, Excise Act, Gaya, in connection with Barachatti P.S. Case No.417 of 2018, subject to the condition that both the bailors shall be close relative of the petitioner.
