The petitioner, who is in custody, seeks bail in connection with Complaint Case (Economic Offence) No. 02 of 2018 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 135(i) (a) and (b) and 104 of the Custom Act.

Allegation against petitioner is of recovery of two bundles of Indian Currency note believed to be fake, total amounting to Rs. 1,99,500/- from the possession of petitioner. Considering the allegation against the petitioner, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Hence, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is hereby rejected.
