Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 8/20(b)(ii)(c)of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act and 413/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

38 Kgs of Ganja was allegedly recovered from possession of the petitioner. Petitioner is in custody since 07.10.2016.

Earlier prayer was refused on 14.07.2017 in Cr. Misc. No.22163 of 2017 with direction to the learned Trial Judge to expedite the trial.

The report of the learned Trial Judge dated 11.10.2018 would reveal that prosecution evidence is going on.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.58967 of 2018(3) dt.12-12-2018 2/2 The learned Trial Court is directed to conclude the trial within six months by taking all appropriate steps for conclusion of the trial.

With the aforesaid observation, the application is rejected in connection with Patliputra Junction P.S.Case No.13 of 2016 giving rise to Special Case No.77 of 2016 pending before the court of learned Addl. Sessions Judge-III, Patna.
