1. The Writ petition has been filed for the following reliefs:- i.

For issuance of appropriate writ for quashing Memo No. 4410 dated 18.09.2019 issued by the Special Work Officer department of Food and Civil Supplies, Government of Bihar, Patna.

ii.

For issuance of appropriate quashing of the Memo No. 726 dated 28.08.2019 issued by

Patna High Court CWJC No.21811 of 2019(2) dt.24-06-2026 2/3 the Commissioner, Magadh Division, Magadh Division, Gaya.

iii. For directing the respondents to give work order to the petitioner, as the Distributor Licence No. 13/09/2019 has been issued to the petitioner by completing all legal formalities by the appropriate authority.

2. Heard the Learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the Learned counsel for the respondents/State.

3. During the course of arguments, the Learned counsel for the State- Shree Upendra Pratap Singh reported to the Court that the advertisement which was challenged has already been cancelled pursuant to the order of this Court. Therefore, the Department is require to issue a fresh advertisement for selection, and all PDS licences granted pursuant to the earlier advertisement are liable to be cancelled. Therefore, the Writ petition itself has become infructous.

4. In view of the aforesaid submission,

Patna High Court CWJC No.21811 of 2019(2) dt.24-06-2026 3/3 nothing remains in the Writ petition for further adjudication. Accordingly, the Writ petition is dismissed as infructuous.
