2. The petitioner is in judicial custody in connection with Shahkund P.S. Case No. 206 of 2010 for the offence under Section 392 of the Indian Penal Code lodged on 31.12.2010 by the informant, Motiur Rahman.

3. As per the prosecution story, the informant alleged that while returning home on his motorcycle was intercepted and the motorcycle was snatched, which led to the F.I.R.

4. Though, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he had no role to play in the matter, in a case of 2011, he was implicated. Subsequently, he left the State and upon return the police arrested then came to know that in a case of the year 2010, he is also an accused.

5. Learned APP on the other hand opposes the prayer

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.80042 of 2024(2) dt.20-11-2024 2/2 submitting that in the year 2010 in the said snatching of the motorcycle, the petitioner was an accused who evaded arrest for fourteen long years thus stalling the trial.

6. In the aforesaid circumstance and the submission of the learned APP, it will be appropriate now that the petitioner has come in judicial custody, he faces trial. The bail petition stands rejected for the present.

7. As the case is of the year 2010, it is expected that the Trial Court shall take the matter with all the seriousness and conclude the matter at an earliest.
