The petitioner seeks bail in Industrial Area P.S. Case No. 33/2018, instituted for the offences under Sections 8, 20(b) (ii)(c), 25 and 29 of N.D.P.S. Act.

It is alleged in the written report that on getting secret information the police intercepted two vehicles; one Hundai Car and another Tata Indigo, out of which one vehicle Tata Indigo managed to run away. Police recovered total 120.240kg of Ganja from the aforesaid Hundia Car. The petitioner was driver of the aforesaid vehicle. He was arrested on the spot by the police. After following the provision of Section 50 of NDPS Act, search of aforesaid vehicle was made.

In view of such, this Court is not inclined to grant bail

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.66188 of 2018(3) dt.29-11-2018 2/2 to the petitioner at this stage. Accordingly, prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.
