JUSTICE VINOD KUMAR SINHA ORAL ORDER 06-11-2019 Earlier prayer for bail of the petitioner was rejected by this Court by order dated 28.11.2018 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 60873 of 2018. There is allegation of recovery of 14 Kg. of Charas from the possession of the petitioner and petitioner has also made confession before the NCB authority. Submission of learned counsel for the petitioner is that he is a handicapped person and it is not possible for him to carry 14 Kg. of Charas and he is in custody for one and a half years.

Heard learned counsel for Union of India, who has opposed the prayer for bail stating that there is recovery of huge quantity of charas from the petitioner and he has also made his

Having heard both sides and in view of allegation, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. However, since petitioner is in custody since long, learned trial court is directed to expedite the trial, so as to conclude the same within a further period of nine months. This application is, accordingly, dismissed.
