1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.P.P. for the State.
2. The petitioner apprehends her arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under Sections 80 and 3(5) of the B.N.S., 2023.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is a person with clean antecedent and is a woman and the informant alleges that Ravindra abducted his daughter and took her to Nepal and married her, further for the said occurrence Sikty P.S. Case No.72/2020 was instituted, next alleges that out of the wedlock a child was born and they returned from Nepal, thereafter Sikty P.S. Case No.72/2020 was compromised, next alleges that after the case was compromised, the accused persons started torturing her daughter for dowry of
2/4 Rs. 7 lacs, further on 02.12.2024 he came to know that victim committed suicide by hanging, thus reached the place of occurrence and saw the dead body lying, thus alleges that accused persons killed the victim for non-fulfillment of dowry demand.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has been falsely implicated in the instant case by the informant being mother-in-law of the deceased. It is next submitted that informant is not an eyewitness to the occurrence. It is next submitted that from perusal of the allegation as alleged in the FIR, it would manifest that earlier Sikty P.S. Case No.72/2020 was instituted but the same was compromised. It is also submitted that victim and Ravindra were in love and they eloped to Nepal, as their relationship was being objected by the informant. It is further submitted that they came back only when a child was born. It is further submitted that the victim committed suicide by hanging and the petitioner being motherin-law came to be implicated. It is next submitted that even allegation of demand of dowry is general and omnibus in nature. It is further submitted that whenever any dispute arises in between the husband and the wife and the occurrence of the nature as takes place, the entire family members are implicated
3/4 in a mechanical manner with general and omnibus allegation. It is also submitted that had the petitioner been involved in the occurrence, in that event, efforts would have been made to dispose of the dead body with a view to conceal evidence but then the dead body was lying in the house and postmortem was done for ascertaining the cause of death. It is reiterated and submitted that had the petitioner been involved in the occurrence then she would never have wanted the body to be sent for postmortem or else the cause of death would have been ascertained. It is also submitted that husband of the deceased is in custody. It is next submitted that petitioner will not abscond rather will cooperate in the investigation to prove her innocence.
5. Learned A.P.P. for the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner.

Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner above-named, in the event of her arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of six weeks from today, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned trial court where the case is pending/successor court in connection with Sikty P.S. Case
