2. This is the second attempt on behalf of the petitioner for grant of bail in connection with Kotwali P.S. Case No. 477 of 2024 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 309(4) of the Indian Penal Code.
3. Earlier the bail application of the petitioner has been rejected vide order dated 19.02.2025 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 8679 of 2025, which reads as under:
"Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and learned APP for the State.
2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Kotwali P.S. Case No. 477 of 2024 registered for the offence under Sections 309(4) of the BNS.
3. As per the prosecution case, the petitioner is alleged to have demanded extortion (Rangdari) from the informant.

4. The petitioner is in jail since 17.10.2024. He has been identified from the CCTV footage.
5. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances as well as the allegations levelled against the petitioner, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
6. Accordingly, this application for regular bail is dismissed."
4. In the trial, almost all the witnesses have been examined.
