2. The petitioner in the present case is seeking prearrest bail in connection with Pipra P.S. Case No. 223 of 2023 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 406, 420, 467, 468 and 471 of the Indian Penal Code. He has got no vcriminal antecedent.
3. As per the prosecution story, the petitioner is alleged to have got appointment as Panchayat Teacher on the basis of forged documents as during the course of investigation the documents produced by the petitioner were verified and as per the report of the Bihar Sanskrit Shiksha Board, Patna, the certificate and marksheets provided by the petitioner at the time of counselling have been found to be forged and fabricated.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has been falsely implicated in this case. It is also submitted that the service of the petitioner has already been terminated vide Letter No. 115 dated 18.10.2023.
5. On the other hand, learned counsel for the Vigilance Investigation Bureau submits that pursuant to the direction of the Hon'ble Division Bench of this Court in C.W.J.C. No. 15459 of 2014, the exercise for verification of the documents of the teachers were taken up and in course of investigation it has been found that the petitioner had got his appointment as Panchayat Teacher on the basis of forged and fabricated certificates and marksheets of the Bihar Sanskrit Shiksha Board.
6. It is further submitted that despite opportunity given by the Hon'ble Division Bench of this Court to resign such teachers on their own and amnesty was offered to them, the petitioner chose not to resign and he continued to draw monetary benefits as teacher.
7. Having heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State, this Court is of the considered opinion that the allegations against the petitioner being serious in nature and he did not resign on his own despite opportunity granted to him by

No.78970 of 2023(2) dt.18-01-2024 3/3 virtue of the order of the Hon'ble Division Bench of this Court and he continued to draw monetary benefits as Panchayat Teacher for all these years and at this stage it has been found that his educational certificates were forged, this Court would not grant privilege of pre-arrest bail to the petitioner. His prayer is refused.
8. This application stands dismissed.
9. In case, the petitioner surrenders and prays for regular bail in the learned court below within a period of four weeks from today, the same shall be considered on its own merit without being prejudiced by the order of this Court. (Rajeev Ranjan Prasad, J) Rishi/- U T
