2. Petitioner apprehends arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 143, 147, 148, 149, 341, 323, 353, 332, 333, 338, 435, 307, 427, 504, 120(B), 395, 412 of the Indian Penal Code, Section 27 of the Arms Act and Sections 3, 4 of the Prevention of Damage to Public Property Act.

3. It is alleged that this petitioner along with 500-700 persons attacked on the police force, dropped the CCTV camera in shops and attacked at the house of Deputy Chief Minister and damaged the vehicles.

4. It is submitted that petitioner along with other

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.80158 of 2023(2) dt.10-01-2024 2/2 accused persons was protesting against the Agniveer Scheme but allegation of attack is general and omnibus and no specific overt act is alleged against the petitioner.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this anticipatory bail is allowed and it is ordered that let the above named petitioner in the event of his arrest/surrender before the court below within a period of six weeks from today, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bettiah, West Champaran in connection with Bettiah Town P. S. Case No. 456 of 2022, subject to condition as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
