2. Petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Ekchari P. S. Case No. 19/2024 in a case registered for the offence punishable under Section 302 of the Indian Penal Code.
3. As per the prosecution case, informant suspects that this petitioner killed her daughter or abetted her death by constantly harassing her over the phone.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is devar of the deceased and only suspicion has been raised against this petitioner. There is no active and direction act alleged against this petitioner which led the deceased to commit suicide. Police after investigation submitted charge-sheet against the petitioner under Section 306 of the IPC and the learned Court below has also taken cognizance under Section 306 of the IPC. Petitioner claims
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.72640 of 2025(2) dt.04-11-2025 2/2 clean antecedent and he is in custody since 18.06.2025.
5. Learned A.P.P. for the State vehemently opposes the bail application.
6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, the bail application is allowed. Let the above named petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Bhagalpur in connection with Ekchari P. S. Case No. 19 of 2024.
