The petitioner is languishing in custody in connection with Balrampur P.S. Case No. 103 of 2019, for the offence punishable under Section 30(a) read with Section 13 of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

Allegation is regarding recovery of 175.320 litres of illicit foreign liquor from a Scorpio vehicle. Petitioner has stated on oath that he has got no criminal antecedent. It is further submitted that the petitioner is in custody since 14.09.2019.

Considering the facts aforesaid, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.76345 of 2019(2) dt.29-11-2019 2/2 amount each to the satisfaction of the learned court below where the case is pending in connection with Balrampur P.S. Case No. 103 of 2019, with following conditions:

(a) Both the bailors shall be the resident of territorial jurisdiction of the learned court below; and (b) The petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation/trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
