JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 11-11-2024 The limited prayer made by the petitioner in the present writ petition is to direct the District Magistrate, Nalanda at Biharsharif to dispose of the pending application filed by the petitioner for grant of Arms License on 16.11.2023, within a stipulated time frame.

Per contra, the learned counsel for the respondent-State submits that in case the aforesaid application has actually been filed by the

Patna High Court CWJC No.16816 of 2024(2) dt.11-11-2024 2/2 petitioner and is still pending consideration, the same would definitely be disposed of within a stipulated time frame, as is fixed by this Court. 3.

Having regard to the limited prayer made by the petitioner in the present writ petition, I deem it fit and proper to direct the District Magistrate, Nalanda at Biharsharif to dispose of the aforesaid application filed by the petitioner for grant of Arms License, in case the same has actually been filed by the petitioner and is still pending consideration, by passing a reasoned and a speaking order, in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks of receipt/production of a copy of this order.

The writ petition stands disposed of on the aforesaid terms.
