2. The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Haspur P.S. Case No. 172 of 2025 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 126(2), 115(2), 80, 123 and 3(5) of the B.N.S., lodged on 11.06.2025 by the informant Harekrishna Singh.

3. As per the prosecution story, the lady was married to Dharmnath Singh in the year 2010 but she was always tortured for dowry and on the fateful day, came to know about the death, which followed the F.I.R.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he used to live separately, had no role to play in the alleged death, the lady committed suicide.

5. Learned APP Mr. Bharat Bhushan, has taken this

No.74948 of 2025(2) dt.19-11-2025 2/2 Court to learned Sessions Judge order to show that the deceased's daughter Nitam Kumari made statement under section 180 of the B.N.S.S. supporting the prosecution theory as also the role of father/grandfather which followed her witnessing the death of her mother.

6. Considering the allegation that has come against this petitioner, who is the grandfather, no case of anticipatory bail is made out, which is accordingly rejected.

7. However, if the petitioner surrenders within a period of four weeks, files bail application, the court concerned shall consider the matter and dispose it of preferably on the same day.
