2. The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Pupri P.S. Case No. 16 of 2022 instituted for the offences under Sections 147, 148, 149, 341, 323, 307, 302/34 and 324 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act.

3. As per prosecution case, the petitioner along with others is said to have came at the informant's house and assaulted him and his family members, due to which they sustained injury. The specific allegation against the petitioner is that he stabbed into stomach of the deceased with knife.

4. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.5601 of 2023(4) dt.19-07-2024 2/2 petitioner has submitted that petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. There is general and omnibus allegation against the petitioner.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State has vehemently opposed the prayer for grant of bail to the petitioner and submitted that petitioner is named in the FIR and there is specific overt act alleged against the petitioner of stabbing the deceased.

6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case and seriousness of allegation, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

7. The prayer is rejected.
