1. Though the present writ petition has been filed for release of Maruti Baleno Delta Petrol vehicle bearing Registration No. BR06BS-1734, which has been seized by S.H.O. Nadi Police Station, Bagaha, District-East Champaran, in connection with Nadi P.S. Case No.37/22 dated 23.07.2022 for offences under Sections 8/21(C)/29 of the N.D.P.S. Act, however, at the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioners seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioners to approach the Ld. Trial Court, for the purposes of release of the said vehicle, by

Patna High Court CWJC No.19372 of 2024(2) dt.08-01-2025 2/2 filing appropriate petition under the provisions of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023. Liberty so sought is granted.

2. It is needless to state that in case appropriate petition is filed by the petitioners, within a period of four weeks from today, the Ld. Trial Court shall pass appropriate orders thereon, in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks, thereafter.

3. The writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
