2. Petitioner apprehends arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under sections 419, 420, 467, 468, 504/506 of the Indian Penal Code.
3. As per the prosecution case, petitioner took Rs.8,20,000/- from the informant with a written agreement to return it by 21.9.2023. When petitioner could not pay the said amount, he issued two cheques in favour of the informant which bounced due to insufficiency of fund. Petitioner also assaulted and threatened the informant when he demanded the said amount.

No.77603 of 2024(4) dt.30-04-2025 2/2 implicated in this case. petitioner and informant were partner in a business, so informant had taken signed blank cheque earlier from the petitioner for security purpose. Dispute appears to be of civil nature and no criminal case is made out against the petitioner. Petitioner claims clean antecedent.
5. Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer for bail. He submits that the petitioner is author of two cheque which got dishonoured due to paucity of fund, as such, he cannot escape responsibility.
6. Considering the nature and gravity of allegation, prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected. (Prabhat Kumar Singh, J) shashi/- U T
