2. The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for offence under Sections 302 and 120(B) of the Indian Penal Code.

3. F.I.R. was lodged against unknown for the murder of brother of the informant.

4. Petitioner is not named in the F.I.R. and his name has transpired during course of investigation in the confessional statement of co-accused Anshu Kumar, who has already been granted bail by a coordinate Bench of this Court, vide order dated 31.07.2023 passed in Cr.Misc. No. 44239 of 2023.

5. However, learned A.P.P. for the State vehemently opposes the prayer for bail and submits that during

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.668 of 2024(4) dt.21-03-2024 2/2 investigation, the mobile phone of the deceased was recovered from the possession of this petitioner. Besides this, petitioner has got one criminal antecedent also.

6. Considering the same, the prayer for bail of petitioner is rejected.
