This application for regular bail arises out of Sigori P.S. Case N0. 63 of 2019, disclosing offences punishable under Sections 25(1-b)a/26/37 of the Arms Act. The petitioner is in custody since 29.06.2019. Allegedly, from his possession a country made pistol and few live cartridges were recovered by the Police. It appears that one Sigori P.S. Case No. 61 of 2019 was registered for the offence punishable under Section 392 of the Indian Penal Code in which also his name has surfaced in course of investigation.
Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner has submitted that so far as present case is concerned, since he has remained in custody for five months, his prayer for bail may be sympathetically
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.75337 of 2019(2) dt.26-11-2019 2/2 considered. He has submitted that the petitioner shall present himself on each and every date before the Court below as and when required.
Considering the aforesaid submission, this application is allowed.
Let the petitioner above-named be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/-(ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned ACJM-V, Danapur in Sigori P.S. Case No. 63 of 2019.
