2. Petitioners seek regular bail in connection with Gaya Excise P.S. Case No. 1000/2024 dated 25.09.2024 registered for the offence punishable under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

3. The main submissions advanced by learned counsel for the petitioners are that the instant matter relates to the recovery of 189 litres of foreign liquor from a car and as per the allegation, both the petitioners were found sitting in the said car at the time of recovery but they had no knowledge of the seized

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.83079 of 2024(2) dt.04-12-2024 2/2 liquor and they have been made accused mainly on the basis of suspicion. It is further submitted that the petitioners have been languishing in jail since 25.09.2024 and against them, the investigation has been completed.

4. Learned APP appearing for the State has opposed the bail prayer of the petitioners.

5. Considering the above submissions and mainly the petitioners' custody period as well as completion of the investigation against them, this Court is inclined to grant the relief of regular bail to the petitioners. Accordingly, let the petitioners named-above be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/-(Rupees Twenty Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the concerned Court in connection with Gaya Excise P.S. Case No. 1000/2024.
