The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Paroo P.S. Case No.486 of 2022, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 341, 354, 504 and 509 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 12/18 of the POCSO Act. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in the present case. The petitioner has got no criminal antecedent as stated in paragraph-3 of the bail petition. It is also submitted that the FIR was lodged after three days. It is further submitted that due to previous enmity, the petitioner is made accused in the instant case. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that it is not mentioned in the FIR that on which date the occurrence took place.

No.74243 of 2022(3) dt.07-02-2023 2/2 Learned APP for the State as well as learned counsel appearing on behalf of the informant opposed the prayer for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner by submitting that the victim girl is minor and she has supported the prosecution case in her statement recorded under Section 164 Cr.P.C. Taking into consideration the facts aforesaid, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on anticipatory bail. Accordingly, the prayer for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner is hereby rejected.
