Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the case of the petitioners is squarely covered by the judgment passed by this Court in C.W.J.C. No.5278 of 2005 and analogous cases (Ravi Shankar Vs. State Of Bihar reported in 2007 (Suppl.) PLJR 337).

Considering the aforesaid facts, since the case of the petitioners stands on similar footings to that of the petitioners of
Patna High Court CWJC No.18877 of 2024(3) dt.27-03-2025 3/3 C.W.J.C. No.5278 of 2005 and analogous cases, there is no requirement to keep pending the present writ application. 4.
Accordingly, petitioners are directed to file a detailed representation along with a copy of the order passed in C.W.J.C. No.5278 of 2005 and analogous cases and other supporting dodcuments, before the respondent nos.1 and 2 within a period of four weeks and the respondent nos.1 and 2 are well advised to consider the case of the petitioners and dispose of the representation of the petitioners after affording an opportunity of personal hearing or through their counsel and pass a reasoned and speaking order in accordance with law and in light of the order passed in C.W.J.C. No.5278 of 2005 and analogous cases within two months from the date of filing of such representation by the petitioners.

The respondent nos.1 and 2 is directed to comply this order within the stipulated period.

With the aforesaid directions, this writ application stands disposed of.
