The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Gopalganj Town P.S. Case No.258 of 2019 registered under Sections 302, 120(B)/34 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code. The accusation is that while the informant was going to his house along with his friend Ashish Singh, boarding on the motorcycle of Ashish Singh, in the way, the motorcycle met with an accident. At that time, six persons, named in the F.I.R., including the petitioner, boarding on two motorcycles, came there and encircled them. Thereafter, Chandan Dubey and Pravin Shahi gave the knife blow at Ashish Singh causing injury on his chest and back. When they became satisfied that Ashish

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that while the petitioner is named in the F.I.R. along with others but the specific allegation to cause injury through knife at the chest and back of Ashish Singh is against Chandan Dubey and Pravin Shahi. The only allegation against the petitioner is that he was present along with others at the time of the alleged occurrence. The petitioner has no criminal antecedent and is in custody since 26.05.2019. Having regard to the facts and the circumstances of the case, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Gopalganj, in connection with Gopalganj Town P.S.
