JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 10-02-2021 Shri Madhukar Mishra, learned A.C. to SC-16 submits that the joining of the petitioner has already been accepted by Memo No. 920 dated 17.11.2020 and as far as the payment of the consequential benefits are concerned, a sum of Rs. 9 lacs approximately has already been paid and the balance amount of Rs. 13 lacs an odd would be paid within a period of one week from today inasmuch as the said amount has been sent to the Treasury for payment to the petitioner.

Having regard to the aforesaid submissions made by

Patna High Court MJC No.4324 of 2019(5) dt.10-02-2021 2/2 the learned counsel for the State, I do not deem it fit and proper to keep the matter pending, hence, the present contempt petition stands disposed of, however, in case the aforesaid amount is not paid to the petitioner within a period of two weeks from today, the Principal Secretary, Education Department, Government of Bihar, Patna, shall not draw his salary and the petitioner shall be at liberty to revive the present contempt petition. At this juncture, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he be granted liberty to file appropriate representation for redressal of his subsisting grievances. Liberty so prayed is granted.

The present petition stands disposed of with the aforesaid liberty to the petitioner.
