====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE PURNENDU SINGH ORAL ORDER 04-12-2024 Heard Mr. Shivendra Prasad, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and Dr. Kumar Uday Pratap, learned APP for the State.

2. The petitioner seeks pre-arrest bail in connection with Complaint Case No. 486 of 2023 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 498(A) and 323/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. The allegation against the petitioner is of assaulting the opposite party no.2 for non-fulfillment of demand of dowry.

4. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is ready to settle the

5. Considering the desire of the petitioner and the fact that the complaint has been lodged as a result of the strained matrimonial relationship between the opposite party no.2 and the petitioner who are wife and husband respectively, I find it proper to direct the learned Mediator, District Mediation Centre, to resolve the dispute between the husband and the wife and submit a report before the learned District Court well within a period of four months.

6. Petitioner is directed to inform the opposite party no.2 by notice or by any means or through Court so that both the petitioner and the opposite party no.2 must appear on 22.01.2025 at 04:30 PM before the learned Mediator, District Mediation Centre. Learned District Court is also directed to take steps to issue notice to the opposite party no.2.

7. The petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on pre-arrest bail, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the Court below within a period of four weeks from today, on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Jehanabad in connection with Complaint Case No. 486 of 2023, subject to the condition
