JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 22-04-2024 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:- "1.That the present writ application is being directed for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus or any other appropriate writ/writs directing the respondents concerned to make payment of arrears of salary as well as current salary to the petitioner, who was appointed to the post of Manager, Primary Agriculture Cooperative Societies at Pahsara, Begusarai. However, inspite of a number of representations

Patna High Court CWJC No.16790 of 2023(2) dt.22-04-2024 2/2 filed by the petitioner before the respondents concerned to the effect that although he has been relieved from suspension by the office order dated 10.07.2000, his salary is not being paid since then causing acute financial hardship to him. The petitioner further prays that the respondents concerned may be directed to pay interest also over and above the amount of salary due to be paid to the petitioner."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to take appropriate steps for restoration of the earlier writ petition, filed by him, i.e. CWJC No. 200 of 2018, which has though been filed seeking same and similar relief but has stood dismissed for want of prosecution. Liberty, so sought, is granted.

The present writ petition stands disposed off as not pressed.
