2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under Sections 341, 323, 307, 379, 325, 147, 148 and 149 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per prosecution case, this petitioner is alleged to have assaulted on the head of cousin brother of informant, namely Sonu Kumar, by means of iron rod. Doctor has found the injures sustained by Sonu Kumar to be grievous in nature.
