The petitioners apprehend their arrest in connection with Pupri P.S. Case no. 426 of 2017, registered under Sections 363, 366/34 of the Indian Penal Code. The accusation is that informant Matwar Mandal performed the marriage of his granddaughter with Rohit Mandal, son of Gangandeo Mandal of village Amanpur, P.S. Pupri, District-Sitamarhi in the month of April, 2016, but after marriage his granddaughter was not allowed to talk with her myaka people. Thereafter, informant along with his brother Rambalak Mandal went to the sasural of his granddaughter

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.68622 of 2018(4) dt.17-04-2019 2/3 then came to know that husband and other in-laws have committed kidnapping of his granddaughter to perform her remarriage with another person.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that petitioners are father-in-law, mother-in-law and brother-in-law of granddaughter of the informant. He further submits that, in fact, there was love affairs in between granddaughter of the informant and one Awadhesh Das of Bhantawari and after marriage, Awadhesh Das used to come at matrimonial house of granddaughter of the informant on which protest was made, but later on, granddaughter of the informant left the house. He further submits that while the statement of the victim, granddaughter of the informant, was recorded under Section 164 of the Cr.P.C. in which she simply stated about carrying her at another place and locking in the room from where, anyhow, she succeeded to flee away. Further submission is that witnesses, in paragraph Nos.

59 and 60, have detailed about the love affairs of the granddaughter of the informant with Awadhesh Das, who used to visit at her matrimonial house.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.68622 of 2018(4) dt.17-04-2019 3/3 within a period of four weeks from today, on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Pupri, Sitamarhi in connection with Pupri P.S. Case No. 426 of 2017, subject to the condition as laid down under Section 438 (2) of the Cr.P.C.
