2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in the present case registered for offences under Sections 409, 420, 467, 468, 471, 120(B) of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the prosecution case, the petitioner is said to have participated in the fraud of release of double claims of L.I.C.

4. Rs. 2,00,000/- (Rs. Two Lakh ) was credited in the account of the petitioner. The petitioner has returned the entire amount i.e. Rs. 2 Lakh to the informant including Rs. 1 Lakh

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.3556 of 2024(6) dt.20-07-2024 2/2 which has been returned today by way of demand draft without prejudice to his case and without accepting his guilt.

5. Learned counsel for the O.P. No. 02 has received the demand draft of Rs. 1,00,000/- (One Lakh) in the name of the informant.

6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this application for anticipatory bail is allowed.

7. Accordingly, let the petitioner, above-named, in the event of his arrest or surrender within four weeks from today in the Court below, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned C.J.M., Gopalganj/concerned court below in connection with Gopalganj P.S. Case No.989 of 2022 subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
