2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Laxmipur P.S. Case No. 219 of 2022 registered for the offence punishable under Section 376 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 4, 8, 12 and 16 of the POCSO Act.

3. The allegation is of rape against the petitioner. The police after investigation, has exonerated the petitioner and has submitted a final form finding the case to be false. The petitioner is in jail since 01.08.2023.

4. Learned APP appearing for the State opposes the prayer for regular bail of the petitioner.

5. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case and submissions of learned counsel for the parties,

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.80370 of 2023(3) dt.05-03-2024 2/2 let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned A.D.J.-Icum-Spl. Judge, SC/ST, (POA Act), Jamui in connection with Laxmipur P.S. Case No. 219 of 2022.
