The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in a case in connection with Gopalpur PS Case No. 334 of 2023 dated 30.05.2023, registered for the offence punishable under Section 326/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

As per the prosecution case, the petitioner and other co-accused threw boiling water on the infant son of the informant due to which the child sustained severe burn injury. The petitioner is the wife of the co-accused. 4.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner has falsely been implicated in the present case. It is further submitted that both sides are agnates and there is some dispute between the parties with regard to ancestral properties. The petitioner has fair and clean antecedent as mentioned in para-3 of the bail application.

Learned APP for the State has vehemently opposed the bail petition of the petitioner.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances as well as the nature of allegation against the petitioner, let the petitioner named-above, in the event of his arrest / surrender within a period of six weeks from today, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Judicial Magistrate-I, Patna, in connection with Gopalpur PS Case No. 334 of 2023, subject to conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure. 7.

This application stands allowed.
