1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned APP for the State and learned counsel for the opposite party no. 2.
2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Section 498A of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3⁄4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.
3. Petitioner, who is husband of opposite party No.2., is said to have ousted the opposite party no.2 from her matrimonial home in association of his family members over the dowry demand.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that earlier vide order dated 29.01.2025, the matter was sent to the Patna High Court, Mediation Center for reaching an amicable settlement and a report of the Mediation Center is available on the record.
5. A perusal of the same would go to show that memorandum of agreement has been reached between the parties in the Mediation Proceeding No.137 of 2025 dated 10.04.2025. It clearly shows that both the parties have agreed to break the matrimonial tie by mutual consent bearing their own cost. It is also agreed that the O.P. No.2 will withdraw the case once the decree is granted. Hence, no dispute remains between them.

In such view of the matter, let the above named petitioner, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned S.D.J.M. Bhojpur, in connection with Complaint Case No.1471(c) of 2022 subject to the condition laid down under Section 438 (2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure/Section 482 (2) of the B.N.S.S., 2023 and subject to the further condition that the petitioner shall cooperate in the investigation/trial.

7. It is expected that both the parties would strictly adhere to the terms and conditions, as agreed by them before the Mediation Center, Patna High Court.
