JUSTICE NANI TAGIA ORAL ORDER 22-04-2025 This contempt application has been filed alleging violation of the order dated 18.07.2019 passed in CWJC No. 21687 of 2018 wherein this Court had passed the following order:
"...Considering the aforesaid, the writ application is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to verify the fact whether the similarly circumstanced others have been granted the back wages, there is no reason to deny back wages to the petitioner for the petitioner he was illegally kept out of employment.
Patna High Court MJC No.4335 of 2019(2) dt.22-04-2025 2/3 Necessary decision granting the benefit of back wages at par with the similarly circumstanced teachers with all consequential benefits may be taken by the respondents within a maximum period of 60 days from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.
With the aforesaid, the writ application stands disposed of..."
2. Opposite party Nos. 3-5 has filed a show-cause wherein, in paragraph Nos. 6 & 7 thereof it has been stated as under:
"...6. That it is humbly and respectfully submitted that in compliance of the order dated 18.07.2019 passed by this Hon'ble Court the answering opposite party No. 03 considered the case of the petitioner in the light of the order passed in analogous matter i.e. CWJC No 20176/2019 (Kamlesh Roy versus The State of Bihar) by this Hon'ble Court in which case this Hon'ble Court has been pleased to direct to ensure payment of salary to the tune of 50 percent for the intervening period.
7. That accordingly the answering opposite party vide his order dated 15.12.2020 contained in Memo No. 4093 has allowed 50% of the salary during the period the petitioner was out of employment i.e. w.e.f. 01.11.2013 to 28.05.2017..."

3. On perusal of the show-cause filed by the opposite party Nos. 3-5, I find that the order dated 18.07.2019 passed in CWJC No. 21687 of 2018 has been complied with by the respondents.
4. Accordingly, this contempt application stands closed and disposed off.
