The petitioner seeks pre-arrest bail in connection with Pipra Kothi P. S. Case No. 168 of 2018 registered under Sections 147, 148, 149, 341, 323, 307, 380 and 354 of the Indian Penal Code.

Considering the allegation made in the FIR that the petitioner along with other accused persons brutally assaulted the informant and his family members as a result of which many of them sustained serious injuries, I am not inclined to grant him pre-arrest bail. Accordingly, the application for grant of pre-arrest bail is rejected. However, in case the petitioner surrenders and
