The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 272, 273 and other allied sections of the Indian Penal Code and sections 30(a)/41(i) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016. Total 324 litres of foreign liquor has been recovered from different vehicles.

It is submitted that petitioner has falsely been implicated in this case. Name of petitioner transpired in this case on the basis of confessional statement of co-accused Mukesh Kumar. Nothing has been recovered from conscious possession of this petitioner. Petitioner is neither driver nor

Considering the facts aforesaid, the petitioner abovenamed, in the event of his arrest/surrender before the court below within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Exclusive Special Excise Court No. 1, Motihari, East Champaran in connection with Piprakothi P.S.
