This is an application for regular bail in connection with Purushottampur P. S. Case NO. 66 of 2017 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 386 and 387 of the Indian Penal Code.
Informant in his written complaint to the Officer-inCharge of police has alleged that on 9.12.2017 and 12.12.2017 he received a mobile call on his official mobile at 8-50 P.M. demanding ransom of Rs. 1,00,000/- and if same was not paid then he would abduct his Vehicle. During investigation it was found that the mobile which was used for demand of ransom belonged to petitioner. However, at the relevant time when the ransom was demanded the sim card was used by co-accused

It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case and the main accused is already behind the bar who had used mobile of petitioner for demanding ransom from informant. It is further submitted that petitioner has no criminal antecedent and he is in custody since 13.12.2017. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, let above named petitioner be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand only) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned ACJM-IV, Bettiah, West Champaran, in connection with Srinagar Purushottampur P. S. Case no. 66 of 2017.
