The petitioner apprehends his arrest in Halsi P.S. Case No.191 of 2019 registered under Sections 147, 148, 149, 341, 323, 353, 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code. The gist of the allegation is that the informant (Junior Engineer) and other engineers went to remove the blockage of canal meant for irrigation but the petitioner instigated the villagers, who attacked and humiliated the informant and other engineers.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that nobody was insured. The villagers made protest as their lands were not being irrigated.

Having considered the facts and the nature of allegation made against the petitioner, the above named

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.68511 of 2019(2) dt.13-11-2019 2/2 petitioner, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the learned court below within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned J.M., 1st Class, Lakhisarai in connection with Halsi P.S. Case No.191 of 2019, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438 (2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
