The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Town (Sahayak) P.S. Case No. 514 of 2019, registered under Sections 341, 323, 498(A) and 34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in the present case. He further submits that from perusal of Annexure-3, it appears that the marriage of the petitioner was forcefully solemnized and for the same a petition bearing Matrimonial Case No. 413 of 2019 has been filed before the learned Family Court to void the marriage. The petitioner has no criminal antecedent.

No.70936 of 2019(2) dt.18-12-2019 2/2 Having considered the above facts and circumstances of the case, let the above-named petitioner be released on bail, in the event of arrest or surrender before the learned court below within a period of four weeks from today, on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Katihar in connection with Town (Sahayak) P.S. Case No. 514 of 2019 subject to the condition as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C.
