2. The petitioner has prayed for regular bail in connection with Sikarganj P.S. Case No. 16 of 2024, for the offence punishable under sections 126(2), 115(2), 352, 76, 109, 324(4), 303(2) 3(5) of Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita.

3. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner along with others went at the door of the informant started abusing her. All the accused persons assaulted her and there is specific allegation against this petitioner that he assaulted with the iron rod on the head of the informant. From the injury report of the informant it is clear that she has received only one injury i.e. laceration right side of the forehead whereas allegation is

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. Petitioner has two criminal antecedent in which in one case he is on bail. Petitioner is in custody since 26.08.2024.

5. Learned APP appearing for the state vehemently opposed the prayer for bail.

6. Having heard learned counsel for the parties and considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this court is inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. The above named petitioner are directed to be released on bail in connection with Sikarganj P.S. Case No. 16 of 2024, on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Judicial Magistrate-1st Class, Sikrahna at Dhaka, Motihari, East Champaran.
