The petitioner is accused in connection with G.O. Case No. 44 of 2018, registered under Section 30(A) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

The accusation is of recovery of 60 bottles, each containing 300 ML Nepali Sofi recovered from the motorcycle, which was being driven by the petitioner on which Ajay Shah was the pillion rider on the said motorcycle. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has no criminal antecedent and he is in custody since 17.02.2018.
