Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 413, 414, 411/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 18, 22, 27 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985.
It appears that co-accused Prem Pandey @ Kanhaiya has already been allowed bail by a Coordinate Bench of this Court by a reasoned order vide order dated 12.02.2018 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 4341 of 2018 and co-accused Chotu Kumar @ Vikash Kumar @ Vikash has also been granted bail by another Coordinate Bench of this Court vide order dated 27.02.2018 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 11211 of 2018. Allegation against the
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.14356 of 2018 (2) dt.13-03-2018 2/2 petitioner is on better footing to that of Prem Pandey. Hence, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Spl. Case No. 158 of 2017 arising out of Kotwali Police Station Case No. 555 of 2017, subject to the condition that the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation and trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
