The petitioner seeks bail in Jhajha P.S. Case No. 303 of 2017 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 25(1-b)a/26 of the Arms Act.

Informant is the Officer-in-charge of Jhajha P.S who in his statement has stated that on receiving confidential information about the petitioner, who is a veteran criminal was planning to commit some major crime. He along with other police personnel reached there and after seeing the police petitioner started fleeing away but he was apprehended by the police party and from his possession one loaded country made pistol and one cartridge from the right pocket of his pant were recovered.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.14112 of 2018(3) dt.05-04-2018 2/2 It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case. Petitioner is in custody since 20.09.2017.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, let the petitioner named above be released on bail upon furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/-(ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned S.D.J.M. Jamui in connection with Jhajha P.S. Case No. 303 of 2017.
