Petitioner apprehends arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under sections 420, 406, 364 and 120 (B) of the Indian Penal Code.

As per prosecution case, petitioner and other accused persons abuducted the husband of the informant, so that they would not have to return 15 lakhs rupees, which they have taken for the purpose of business from the husband of informant. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case and has not taken any money from the husband of the informant. Petitioner claims clean antecedent. However, the learned counsel for the State opposed the prayer for bail and states that petitioner is named in F.I.R

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.1394 of 2023(4) dt.08-05-2023 2/2 and victim is still traceless.

Considering the nature and gravity of allegation, prayer for pre-arrest bail of the petitioner is rejected. (Prabhat Kumar Singh, J) Kaushik/- U T
