Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 271, 272, 420, 414/34 of the Indian Penal Code as well as Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

10 litres of country made liquor was recovered from possession of the petitioner. Petitioner has stated on oath that he has got no criminal antecedent and he is in custody since 26.09.2017.

Considering the aforesaid fact, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.5303 of 2018 (2) dt.01-02-2018 2/2 the case is pending in connection with Bihta Police Station Case No. 733 of 2017, subject to the condition that the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation and trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
