The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Bihar P.S. Case No. 73 of 2017 registered for the offence punishable under Section 395 of the Indian Penal Code.

It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case and no recovery has been made from the possession of the petitioner. The name of the petitioner had transpired only in the confessional statement of co-accused Mannu Kumar @ Abhimanyu in Chewara P.S. Case No. 18 of 2017 and thereafter petitioner has been made accused in this case. It has further been submitted that the petitioner has not been put on TIP. Petitioner is in custody since 24.11.2017.
