The petitioner, already in custody, seeks bail in connection with Mohammadpur P.S.Case No. 22 of 2017 registered under Sections 307 and 304B of the Indian penal Code. Allegation in brief is that accused persons were torturing the deceased after marriage held in the year 2014 for further demand of furniture and in that connection she was throttled to death.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is grand father-in-law and 80 years old man and husband is in custody and police has submitted charge sheet. Having considered the aforesaid facts and

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.7540 of 2018 (2) dt.08-02-2018 2/2 circumstances, the petitioner, namely, Hira Lal Sahani @ Hiralal Sahni, is directed to be released on bail upon furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned ACJM 1st Gopalganj in connection with Mohammadpur P.S. Case No. 22 of 2017.
