Petitioner, already in custody, seeks bail in connection with Chiraiya P.S.Case No. 219 of 2016, registered under Sections 354 (B) of the Indian Penal Code and section 8 of POSCO Act.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the alleged occurrence is said to have taken place on 15.10.2016 and F.I.R. was lodged after lapse of fifteen days without any cogent reason and only suspicion has been raised and it is stated that the informant saw the petitioner in torch light fleeing away but the petitioner has no criminal antecedent.

No.13718 of 2018 (2) dt.08-03-2018 2/2 Having considered the said facts and circumstances, the petitioner, Lalbir Ram is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned 1st Additional Sessions Judge-cum- Special Judge, POSCO Act, East Champaran in connection with Chiraiya P.S.Case No. 219 of 2016.
